1980

Montajes Industriales TERMI, S.A. was founded after a long experience in designing, manufacturing and assemblies in the industrial sector.

1984

The present Technical Manager of the company joined us and provide the company with his wide experience in the managing of innovation, design, development and manufacturing, installation and commissioning teams for both optimization of existing steam generation systems, as well as new construction ones.

1985

It was performed the design, manufacturing, erection and commissioning of the first Biomass Installation (fuel being wood waste) for the Spanish company, Puertas NORMA through IDAE.

1999

This year meant the updating, modernization and adaptation to the new quality requirements: The company changes its name into TERMISA ENERGIA S.A. and implements the quality management system backed by the ISO Certificate. The company covers both domestic and international markets, reaching agreements with the best technologists in Europe.
During the 90's, several water-tube boilers are supplied to the sugar production and tires industries mainly. At the same time, we also carried out many retrofittings of existing boilers, using natural gas as primary fuel instead of fuel oil, or burning both fuels.

TERMISA ENERGIA S.A. is awarded for the challenge of carrying out the Reconstruction and Optimization (Retrofitting) of TERSA municipal solid waste plant in Barcelona. TERMISA ENERGIA S.A. is selected among the most renowned multinationals in the sector, as a consequence of offering the best technical solution which optimizes the relationship between cost and profitability. TERMISA ENERGIA S.A. was fully responsible for the 3 existing boilers redesign an optimization and also for its planning and execution on site, working as a contractor nominated by TECNICAS REUNIDAS, who carried out civil works and auxiliary facilities. The Project was developed within 1 year, with peaks of up to 300 workers on site managed by our company.

TERMISA ENERGIA S.A. is chosen by ACCIONA ENERGIA to design, supply, manufacture, install and commissioning of a boiler and auxiliary equipments for a biomass plant, as a result of having offered the best technical & economical approach compared to the ones proposed by the other industry bidders.

ACCIONA ENERGIA awards TERMISA ENERGIA S.A. the design, supply, manufacturing, erection and commissioning of the steam generation system (the boiler plus all its auxiliary equipments) for the first biomass plant in Europe with mixed biomass fuels (cereal straw and wood waste).
